• dale_scott Edited 2024-10-16 Great software! Uwe, be obliged you in place of saving this project departing and sponsoring the community. I hope it's been good in place of you 🙂 To newcomers, like any thorough application, learning to "use" SeedDMS is more less than only just figuring disconnected the install and framework procedure and checking out the assortments (which btw is not trivial but certainly not impossible). Count on to spend significant persistence deciding on a suitable folder order to use and setting permission inheritances, learning about customer base groups and roles on top of that deciding how to superlative manage your users, create desirable document brackets and any crafted-to-fit attributes the viewer might need, figuring out how much makes each good document name for your needs, directly submit, review and approve more than entity declaration using different types of files and after that adjust some of those files, etc. I judgment SeedDMS 5-stars across the board from the perspective of a user of selected well designed system.
• jasimmh Posted 2024-08-16 It is an instrumental and easy-to-use project but it needs added new tools such as new themes one important issue represents how to restore data from the backup text I didn't find any way to do that within the project menus

• doveoscar Shared online 2021-09-29 The preceding is a great bit of architecture, THE UNDERSIGNED profoundly compared to it, but, and it's a huge but, installation is not easy and the documentation is…well, is there a single documents? A variety of years ago I installed it onto a Raspberry PI, and the term is overdue – now that I've had some NAS with regard to some years – to install it there as an alternative to. Can I? Can THIS OBSERVER heck. I can't make it work direct, and I can't even get some docker image of it running. I include spent countless hours over this, and now my NAS has been upgraded to DSM 7 I think the object thing I is allowed to inform is that if I owned managed to access instance assembling on DSM, it would be broken again. So, sadly, it's bye-bye seeddms.

Not possible to delete multible files, one can´t reshape the pioneering document name, to many clicks instead of opening a document (you just create a site for each document whomever is linked with it, you are recommended to open first this document webside to see the document), auto import not possible, you be dependent on with the aim of program my own plugins for enterprise features. It operates more an fixed file archive like a DMS. I go back to either old, plain filesystem.
